UNIT 3 - VOCABULARY


SAVE UP: To keep money so that you can buy something with it in the future.

BE WORTH: Sufficiently good, important, or interesting to be treated or regarded in the way specified.

BARGAIN: A thing bought or offered for sale much more cheaply than is usual or expected.

CAN'T AFFORD: If you cannot afford to do something, you must not do it because it would. cause serious problems for you.

WASTE: To consume or spend something normally in a bad way.

SOUR: Having an acid taste like lemon or vinegar.

AFFORDABLE: Inexpensive; reasonably priced.


CATCH UP: Succeed in reaching a person who is ahead of one.
