UNIT 1 - VOCABULARY

Conceited: Excessively proud of oneself, vain
Put up with: Tolerate
Weird: Strange
Make you feel awkward: Make you feel uncomfortable, strange
Sensible: Acting on good judgment and practical ideas or understanding
Sensitive: Easily upset by the things people say or do
Eager: Wanting very much to do or have something, especially something interesting or enjoyable
Outgoing: Friendly and energetic and finding it easy and enjoyable to be with others
Self-confidence: The belief that you can do things well and that other people respect you
Sympathetic: Used to describe someone who shows, especially by what they say, that they understand and care about someone else's suffering
Truthful: Honest and not containing or telling any lies
Supportive: Giving help and encouragement
Dependable: If someone or something is dependable, you can have confidence in him, her, or it
Feel down: Feel sad, feel bad
Fall out: Have an argument
Isolated: To be apart, alone 
Bully: A person who uses strength or influence to harm or intimidate those who are weaker
Bystander: A person who is standing near and watching something that is happening but is not taking part in it
Put on weight: To win weight
Short it out: To do what is necessary to deal with a problem successfully
Star: The most important actor in a film
Get the feeling: Think, believe
Make the most of it: To use or enjoy something as much as possible
Sprain: To cause an injury to a joint (= a place where two bones are connected) by a sudden movement
