Pickled peppers: Peppers that are kept in vinegar
Batter: A mixture of flour, eggs, and milk, used to make pancakes or to cover food before frying it
Be ware: used to warn someone to be very careful about something or someone
Parcel: Package an object or collection of objects wrapped in paper, especially so that it can be sent by post
Beavers: An animal with smooth fur, sharp teeth, and a large, flat tail. Beavers build dams (= walls of sticks and earth) across rivers
Dams: A wall built across a river that stops the river's flow and collects the water, especially to make a reservoir (= an artificial lake) that provides water for an area

Tearing down: To intentionally destroy a building or other structure because it is not being used or it is not wanted any more
Aggravation: Trouble or difficulty
To be damp: Slightly wet, especially in a way that is not pleasant or comfortable
To be leaking: It means that there is a hole in the roof, and when it is raining, the water comes into the house by it
