MY HIGH SCHOOL PERIOD Project

SPEECH

Ok, so let’s start talking from the starting point.
The beginning of all of this was on Thursday 17th of september of 2015. This was the day we started our 1st year in this High School (2015-2016)
I remember this year like a good one. Talking about the effort level, I really did not feel the difference between that course and the previous ones of the primary school. I enjoyed more that year cause I started feeling that I already had some autonomy that I didn’t have in Primary School. In the school, everything was much more controlled I think.
That year, we made some activities like performing A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare or decorate a pumpkin that were so funny.
Then, we passed to the 2nd course (2016-2017)
I remember that the worst subject of this course was music. I had never studied it so I found it so difficult. In addition to this, the teacher (she was called Ana) was so fussy, so exigent, but I learnt to work much harder than I had done before.
In music, we made projects like:
Create a music note by filling it of music vocabulary words.
Compose a rap song lyric and then record us singing it.
Sing many songs in groups.
Definitely, projects were a bit difficult to do, but quite funny.
Then, came the worst year in my opinion, talking about my High School results (2017-2018)
At first, in Geography, we had a teacher that was so good. He was quite strict, but I learnt lots of useful things with him. Then, he left the High School and went to the University, so that a new teacher called Paula came to teach us Geography lessons. She was a charming person, but talking honestly, I think that the level of the subject decreased a lot comparing to Javier.
During that course, we made things like:
A word cloud with Geography vocabulary.
Read an English book called Madame Doubtfire (that, honestly, was very boring)
A healthy meal receipt.
Post a P.E. tweet.
In this year, I especially enjoyed the lessons with Michael.
My favourite subject was P.E. without any doubt. For the first time, we learnt not only things in relation to the subject, but also things that we could use in our daily day.
The best of this year was the trip to Bordeaux that we made. Absolutely, this was the best trip in my opinion in all those 4 years.
And then, it started this course (2018-2019)
For me, personally, this hasn’t been one of my best years, but it also has been the most satisfactory of my 4 years here talking about personal growth.
In the 1st Term, we did a project about social medias, and we also learnt some facts about Slogans history.
In 2nd Term, we made a project and read a book about Salem witches. This has been one of the few books that I’ve read for the High School that I’ve found interesting and that I’ve learnt something from it.
And, in this last Term, we’ve, for example, learnt some interesting facts about American culture in Abigail’s lessons.
So, in conclusion, I believe that those 4 years have been a very rewarding experience, not only with respect to the learnt knowledges, but as well in respect of personal development.
Now, I think that I’m quite mature and that I’ve some personal opinions and I think that this is much more important than all the subjects learnt!
I’ve met many reliable and sympathetic mates and teachers that have provided me lots of learnings and enriching experiences that have made me a better person.
So, that’s what will stay with me from my High School period!
