UNIT 4 - VOCABULARY

To calm somebody down: To become or make somebody quieter or more relaxed
To cheer somebody up: To become or make somebody happier
To chill out: To relax completely
To cut down on: To reduce the amount you take or use something
To face up to: To accept that a difficult situation exists
To open up: To talk about how you feel
To slow something down: To start to do something less fast
To work out: To do exercise to get fit
